Last week my husband (Tim) turned off the internet, yes that is why I didn't post anything last week. My oldest son has become OBSESSED with a video game and turns into a monster if his game "lags" or if he is asked to do a chore.
So, being fed up with the childish, disrespectful attitude Tim disconnected & hid the wireless box; I know isn't he awesome. This led to a ridiculous scene as my over 6'3" eighteen year old threw a tantrum any 2 year old would be proud of. I an embarrassed to admit that, but it is true & I am sure we are not the only parents who have to deal with this.
We shut our bedroom door, turned on an episode of Masterpiece Mystery! & ignored him. After about 20 minutes it got quiet but we did not emerge for another 30 minutes.
WOW, an amazing sight was presented to us when we went into the kitchen. All three of our boys were cooking dinner together they were communicating and trying to time everything just right. Yes, it brings a tear to the eye doesn't it?
The rest of the week was beautiful. They boys watched movies, played games, built Legos, spent quality time with us & the best: they all lingered at the dinner table carrying on stimulating conversations for a good hour after we finished eating.
Sorry no pics of all the cards I made this week. I will try to post this weekend.
