Last Minute Crop/ Craft Weekend

On Friday I decided to have a Crop/Craft weekend. I made a few calls/ texts. I really wanted to have one for a few weeks now but I have been super busy building my business. I also had a party on Thursday for my Dad's 76th b-day!! Wow you would NEVER know he was even 65, he volunteers 5 or 6 days a week and watches his diet. I do not know how this weekend will turn out but I was a whirling dervish yesterday cleaning the craft room, there is nothing like crisis cleaning. If your house or office is a mess/ dirty invite people over-you will not procrastinate. I can now upload pics of the remodel.

This is the beginning. I have all my stamps, inks, paints and ribbon stored here.

This weekend I plan on finishing the b-day wreath, wrap some bottles, scrapbook, finish the Christmas storage box and complete some cards I started. My dad brought me 3 boxes of stuff for my business and I have to finish going through them and find homes for the items.
I have completed twine bottles, chalkboard bottles, a St. Patty's wreath and much more. Here are a few pics:

One of my fav layouts: My kids when they were little. They are now 13, 15 & 17.

Fun day with Alana

Sooo,  as it turned out, we had rain on our scheduled farmer's market trip. In So. Cal when there is ANY sort of moisture in the air everyone hibernates. My Norwegian friend laughs at us silly Californians. This Thursday we are definitely going, as we should have typical sunny 75 degree weather. We had a great day today painting bottles and preparing for our first farmers market, we painted about 50 bottles!! Last night, while watching House Hunters International, I made a cute St. Patrick's Day wreath. Tonight, I am going to make a birthday wreath and start on an Easter one. Later this month we are providing all of the decorations for a birthday party, and have another one early next month.

Occasionally I will write about a Pinterest success and/ or failure. I am on Pinterest too much and should join a Pinterest Anonymous group, but this is where I get a lot of ideas, ranging from recipes to crafts to beauty and fashion. I have a few recipes they were fab. The chicken stuffed baked potato casserole was amazing; cut the butter in half. I made two 9x13 pans and there was enough left overs for my lunch the next day. I have to mention that I have 3 teenage boys (13, 15 & 17) the older two are swimmers and they all eat massive amounts of food. I can be heard saying "I swear I have to rent a U-Haul once a week to go grocery shopping." I am looking forward to the day I open the pantry/ fridge and actually have food!
